Yesterday one of the users at my work was working from home, from a laptop in a docking station. If I change to 2 screen it does not crash, and maximize to 2 screens without problem. It starts, screen goes white for a few seconds, then the view / session crashes. Here is a log of DGView of when i start a Citrix Session that automatically should maximize to 3 monitors. So i therefore do not believe this is related to how much memory is allocated for the stream of the session resolution. Tested setting all my monitors to 800圆00 resolution to reduce the amount of memory size my resolution would occupy in transit, and it did not help, the WEM-connection crashed anyway. If you have experience in fixing seamless issues from server side, please advise me so i might ask my citrix department at work to look into it. So i am reaching out a hand to the community hoping they might know what settings I can fix if this is in my end. Having read it could also be related to the Seamless presenting of the desktops, but havent found anything relevant for this. Or what to ask them to check for that matter. They suggested it could also be a limitation in the Netscaler, i am unaware of any changes made to our VPN solution that could affect this. It works perfectly inside the firewall locally in the network. At work i use a HP Elitebook, in a docking station, where i have a total of 4 screens through USB-gfx adapters.
My Citrix department in the company blames my computer at home, which i am using, as the problem is not affecting computers locally at work, only for me going in Remotely.

I see a lot of references to REGISTRY and keys in the HKLM, but there is no keys there after i install the Citrix Workspace APP, only in HKCU and usually none of the keys are there referenced to online. Our Citrix department claims they verified there was enough bandwith/memory allocated to run 8K resolution for multiscreen environments. Monitors now run on DVI-D-Dual-Link-to-3x Display Port adapters (active adapters) (active adapters) (It used to work up until recently) Monitors before ran with 1x DVI-D, and 2x DVI-D-> Mini-Display port active adapters. Have verified all monitors run same Hz as well as same SCALING (100%) (two times with AMD card to try get a baseline OS)

Still the same.īought a new GFX card, and went from Radeon HD7990 to NVIDIA 2080 Superįull Windows re-install.TRICE. Tried to downgrade Citrix Workspace APP Different versions. I have tried changing the Preference-> Display behaviour in the WorkspaceAPP session window between "best res", "scale to fit", without it helping. Right clicked systray icon for Citrix Workspace APP and selected advanced preferences, High DPI and sett it to EITHER "YES" or "No, use the native res" or "let OS scale". Some users reports if they remove any external monitor cables from docking, then boot in using only laptop screens, they get into the sessjon, and if they THEN plugin the extra screen, it spreads across all screens, but they have to do the same everytime they loginĪctivated for "Change High DPI settings" in C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\ICA Client\wfica32.exe "High DPI Scaling" is ON. These machines were handled by INTUNES.Ī very few users are not able to start with any external screens connected to laptops, or docking stations.
It has also proven to be an issue for laptops which are used with docking stations, connected through cabled network, to a local network, where several screens are present and connected to the docking station.
Keys to be able to bring it out of fullscreen upon start with CTRL-ALT-F3 If i try to spread the WEM session over 3 screens and maximize it closes in fullscreen and keep closing after like 5 seconds upon every attempted startupI had to go and find a way to add some registry If i use any of the 1 monitors it works for single monitor.

If I spread on front and right, it works, Video showing right and middle monitor works full screen: If i spread on left and front, it works, Video showing left and middle monitor works full screen: If I login again, another session starts, quits and hangs. I used to be able to open on all my 3 screens, but now if i try to spread the image and maximize it over 3 screens, it immediately close, and the session is hanging in "Connected" status. I am able to start them fine in 1 or 2 monitor setups. I have a problem where we have several optional WEM desktops available after we authenticate into Citrix Workspace APP.
